Fiberight wins place at UK’s leading innovation show

Fiberight has won a place in an exhibition of the most game-changing innovations from businesses across the country at the UK’s leading innovation show in November.

Fiberight was one of 100 companies nationwide to be selected to exhibit its innovation to over 2,500 businesses at Innovate 2017 on November 8th and 9th at the NEC, Birmingham.

Fiberight has developed a novel process to recover added value products from mixed residual waste. This innovative technology simultaneously addresses the challenges of managing residual waste and generating a stable supply of sustainable, competitively priced raw materials for manufacturing and industrial applications.

Nick Thompson, Fiberight’s Managing Director said: “Fiberight is excited to have been chosen as one of just 100 companies to showcase its innovation at Innovate 2017. Fiberight offers a truly circular economy solution at a time where recycling rates are plateauing, and consumers and governments are calling for more sustainable products to be manufactured.”

The annual innovation showcase organised by Innovate UK brings the brightest and boldest UK innovators together to inspire businesses, individuals and government to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.

Innovate UK Chief Executive, Dr Ruth McKernan said: “Innovate 2017 will be an ideal platform for Fiberight to showcase their game-changing innovation to national and international businesses and investors. I congratulate Fiberight on their success in winning a place, they are an excellent example of the strength of UK innovation.”
